**DAY SHOW OPTION:
NO barn stalling required, exhibitors may show out of their trailers.
Stalling is still an option, but stalled animals must remain on grounds for entire duration of Fair.

TRAILERING IN: exhibitors can arrive between 7AM-3PM the day of the show. Must be checked in by 3:30 PM and must clean up around trailers before leaving.

FEES/DEADLINE: Register by JULY 20 ($35/head). Entries received after deadline will be $45/head.
**Stalled animals fee is $10/head​

REGISTER: using the Open Class/FFA entry form (link above) using DIVISION C-1 (all lots and classes the same as the regular open show division)

STALLING:
Anyone bringing beef cattle to the fair (4-H, FFA,
Open Class) needs to contact the superintendent(s) by JULY 20 for STALLING ARRANGEMENTS.
**If not showing as part of the Day Show option, you MUST be stalled the entire duration of the Fair
BEDDING/AREA PREP:
Beef exhibitors will be ALLOWED TO BED their stalling area starting on TUESDAY

BEDDING FEE charged per head.
Exhibitors must pay superintendents as soon as cattle enter the barn.

TIE-OUTS:
Tie-outs will be available at night for
$10 PER HEAD (cow/calf pair counts as 1).
​
Tie-out RESERVATIONS must be made by JULY 20
by using the open class entry form.
​

ANIMAL ARRIVAL:
All cattle are allowed onto the fair grounds
beginning on WEDNESDAY.

FFA & OPEN CLASS: beef must be in place
by THURSDAY @ 7:00 AM

4-H: beef must be in place by
WEDNESDAY @ 7:00 PM

Beef cattle are RELEASED no sooner than
6:00 PM on SUNDAY
ANIMAL HEALTH AND IDENTIFICATION
NO ANIMAL may enter the fairgrounds showing clinical signs of any infectious,
contagious, or communicable DISEASE, including ringworm and warts.
​
Any animal WITHOUT PROPER IDENTIFICATION, or showing SIGNS OF DISEASE,
will be required to LEAVE THE FAIRGROUNDS IMMEDIATELY.
IDENTIFICATION:
Upon arrival, exhibitors must provide the following written information:
1) EXHIBITOR INFO: name, address, phone number
​
2) OFFICIAL ANIMAL ID INFO: Official identification information for each separate animal (one of the following):
1) National Uniform Ear Tagging System (NUES)

Begins with the official state number; “41”for MN
​​

​
2) Animal Identification Number (AIN) System
-
Consists of 15 digits, beginning with “ 840”
(Includes “840” tags bearing the 4H logo)
-
Visual or Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)
​​
​
​
​
3) Breed Registry Tattoos and Tags
-
Acceptable if accompanied by documentation
listing the breed registration number
​

Pending registrations are not acceptable
-
Valid only for movement in MN and import from
Iowa, Missouri, or South Dakota.

TRAILERS
All livestock trailers must enter the
fairgrounds through the North Gate.
When leaving the fairgrounds, trailers can exit through the South Gate (near the carnival) or the Northwest Gate (between the 4-H and goat buildings).
**Trailers can be parked to the East of the Grandstand. Follow gravel road on North side of Fairgrounds back and park behind Sheriff's Building in grassy area.
